HEALTH ASSESSMENT
IF YOU CHOOSE A PUPPY AND WANT A VETERINARIAN TO DO A HEALTH CERTIFICATE ON YOUR PUPPY, THEN PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT INFORMATION YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AND I WILL ARRANGE IT AT YOUR EXPENSE.
MOST PEOPLE TAKE THEIR PUPPY TO THEIR OWN VETERINARIAN FOR A HEALTH EVALUATION.
IF YOUR VET FINDS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR PUPPY THEN YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO DO THE NEXT STEP IN EVALUATION. IF A SPECIALIST DOES IN FACT FIND SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR PUPPY THAT MAY HAVE IMPLICATIONS FOR THE FUTURE, I WILL TAKE THE PUPPY BACK AND REFUND YOUR MONEY. TRANSPORT IS AT YOUR EXPENSE.
FOR EXAMPLE, A CLIENT RECENTLY THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH HER PUPPY'S EYES. HER VET TOLD HER TO SEE A VETERINARY OPHTHAMOLOGIST. IF THE OPHTHAMOLOGIST FOUND SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE PUPPY, THEN YOU ARE DUE A REFUND BUT YOU MUST RETURN YOUR PUPPY. IF THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR PUPPY, NO REFUND.
IF YOUR VET THINKS YOUR PUPPY HAS A HEART MURMUR, THEN YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO GET AN ECHOCARDIOGRAM PROVING THAT THERE IS A LIFE THREATENING ABNORMALITY THAT COULD SHORTEN YOUR DOG'S LIFE.
OTHERWISE, NO REFUND ALTHOUGH I WILL ALWAYS TAKE A PUPPY BACK.
Buying A Puppy

First, I do not pay vet bills for any reason at any time. If this is a problem for you, do not buy a dog from me.
Puppies are bred from healthy parents who have been health tested. If a hereditary disorder becomes apparent later in life, I cannot be responsible for that. It is the nature of dog breeding that recessives and spot mutations may occur unpredictably.
Because of getting hacked on PayPal, I am no longer using ANY on line money sending institution. I ask for $100 deposit mailed to me the old fashioned way and will hold the puppy for a couple of weeks until I get it, no problem. I do appreciate it if you let me know if you have changed your mind and no longer want the puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but can be used on a future puppy at a future date.
The balance due is required before the puppy leaves my property. I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS
I will take a personal check although cashier's check is preferred and cash is greatly appreciated. Please use the US mail, priority mail preferred.

When you reserve a puppy, I also need to know when you want the puppy. I cannot hold puppies for months at a time, but I will hold the puppy for at least 10 weeks. I will hold the puppy longer if the full purchase price is paid.
